Who are we? We are a product of history and I am sure if we all go back far enough, we all meld into the same family. I personally have traced my fathers family back to William the Conquerer (I always knew I was a princess! LOL!) With all the geneaology sites out there is so easy to find out the names of our family, but what about the stories, the hardships they endured, their first love, their joys? Its so important to document our lives if not for our children, for our grandchildren to come. I would love to know more about My great great grandparents and how a member of the french royal family fell in love with a gardener and moved to America. Why my Irish grandparents left Ireland and ended up in Los Angeles. The stories I fear are dead and that saddens me. I really hope we can leave an imprint of our life so that one day the future will know who we were.
